About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of a well-established construction and facilities management company. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional to oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while partnering closely with the CEO. The CFO will leverage their extensive experience in the construction industry to ensure effective financial management and project costing as the company continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Drive the financial strategy and operations of the company.
• Ensure accurate project costing and financial management of construction contracts.
• Manage cash flow effectively and oversee financial leadership.
• Lead high-performing teams and provide executive leadership.
• Engage in strategic planning, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Act as the primary contact for investor relations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• At least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial management role within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and financial management of contracts.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
• Experience in strategic decision-making.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
