About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PKM Steel Service, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, guiding its financial strategy, and ensuring financial stability. The CFO collaborates with executive management to establish long-range goals and policies, while managing budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes to align with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
• Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company, including long-term financial planning and risk management.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions, including tax planning and compliance.
• Prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial statements to the President.
• Direct the Finance and accounting team, ensuring their ongoing professional development and training.
• Manage cash flow and oversee day-to-day accounting and internal-control activities.
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyzing internal operations for cost reduction and process enhancement.
• Establish and monitor personal and departmental performance goals in support of organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as CFO or in a similar financial leadership role.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, sales, and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
