About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at YMCA Cape Cod is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, which has a budget of $11 million. This hybrid position requires at least one day per week in the Hyannis office and involves participation in various senior leadership team events. The CFO will lead fiscal strategies, financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive the organization's mission of promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations of the organization.
  • Lead financial planning, financial statements, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Translate strategic vision into practical action.
  • Provide clear direction and strong leadership for YMCA fiscal management.
  • Demonstrate mastery of change and business innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong financial planning and finance skills.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in the non-profit sector is required.
