About the position

The Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Leap is a dual-role position responsible for overseeing both financial and operational aspects of the company. This role is critical in shaping the strategic direction and long-term growth plans of Leap, ensuring financial stability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth while meeting short-term financial goals. The position requires a finance leader with a strong background in the consumer retail space, who will work closely with the CEO to drive the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in line with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling processes to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage capital structure, funding strategies, cash flow, and investments to support growth initiatives.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, audits, ethics, and industry standards.
  • Manage relationships with lenders and financial institutions to support capital needs and lead investor relations activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to optimize efficiency and enhance productivity across all functions.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing processes to optimize efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes and systems to support rapid company growth.

Requirements
