About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PureSky Energy will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and health of the organization. This position involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, and capital management while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The CFO will collaborate with the executive team and board of directors to drive sustainable growth and manage financial risks in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Identify potential financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations.
  • Organize and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Engage with auditors and compliance counterparties for reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to identify funding needs and opportunities.
  • Negotiate and structure financial agreements with investors and financial institutions.
  • Optimize capital structure and oversee cash flow management.
  • Establish and implement robust risk management processes.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA or relevant professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success in financial strategy development and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability and passion for the renewable energy sector.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary $240,000 - $260,000 USD
