About the position

The Town of Blacksburg, VA, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer/Director of Financial Services (CFO/DOF) who will be responsible for overseeing technical accounting, auditing, financial operations, budget management, utility billing, and debt and treasury management. This role requires a finance professional with a strong ethical foundation and the ability to lead and communicate effectively within a local government context. Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical accounting and auditing processes.
  • Manage financial operations and budget management.
