About the position

The Chief Financial Officer/Director of Parking Utility for the Village of Ridgewood is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the municipality and the Parking Utility. The successful candidate will focus on strategic planning, optimizing costs and revenues, and adapting to the evolving parking needs of the community to enhance satisfaction among residents, businesses, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the Village of Ridgewood.
• Manage the Parking Utility, ensuring effective strategic planning and cost/revenue optimization.
• Adapt to changes in the parking paradigm to improve controls and satisfaction levels.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the parking experience for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a New Jersey municipal CFO.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college.
• Valid certification as a Chief Municipal Financial Officer issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
