About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer for Investments to join our Finance team. The CFO of Investments will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to the Investments Strategic Business Unit (SBU), acting as a key advisor to the leadership team. The successful candidate will analyze financial data, provide insights and recommendations, and help guide strategic growth for the firm. The CFO will serve as a thought partner to evaluate and drive the firm's strategic initiatives forward, possessing a bias for stability with the ability to financially evaluate business decisions globally. The role of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Investment organization encompasses direct oversight and facilitation of the day-to-day operations of the strategy and finance department to drive meaningful outcomes while ensuring that financial goals are met. The CFO will lead in executing strategic financial plans that align with the organization's objectives. Additionally, the CFO will oversee the management of the strategy and finance teams, ensuring adherence to all financial processes and procedures. Key responsibilities include providing financial leadership and guidance to the Investments SBU, acting as an advisor to leadership and a member of the leadership team, supporting business decision-making through financial information, forecasting, analysis, and insights. The CFO will analyze the performance of existing products with a strategic lens and make recommendations on paths forward. Close collaboration with the Investments COO and CAO will be essential to help build out strategic plans aimed at driving greater performance in both revenue and margin. The CFO will also develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions, manage the financial planning and analysis process, ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements, and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors. Finally, the CFO will provide leadership and guidance to the Finance team, ensuring that all financial processes and procedures are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Investments SBU.
• Act as an advisor to leadership and a member of the leadership team.
• Support business decision-making through financial information, forecasting, analysis, and insights.
• Analyze performance of existing products with a strategic lens and make recommendations on paths forward.
• Work closely with the Investments COO and CAO to help build out strategic plans to drive greater performance in both revenue and margin.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
• Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Finance team, ensuring that all financial processes and procedures are efficient and effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the Investments industry.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and growth.
• Experience managing a team of financial professionals.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ability to think strategically and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
