About the position
As a member of the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County's administrative team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will participate in the financial decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the hospital's mission in addition to maintaining an awareness of changes in healthcare matters that could have an impact on the financial success of the hospital. We are seeking an experienced CFO that will be a working Director with a hands-on approach to daily operations within the organization. Responsibilities
- Participate in financial decision-making processes for the hospital's mission.
- Maintain awareness of changes in healthcare matters affecting financial success.
- Manage finance department operations, budgeting, and capital planning.
- Oversee Cost Reports and ensure compliance with Critical Access Hospital regulations.
- Manage Revenue Cycle, including Managed Care Contracting and Performance.
- Oversee Supply Chain and Materials Management.
Requirements
- MBA or CPA preferred for licensure/certification.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of CFO experience within a Critical Access Hospital environment preferred.
- Experience in a Not-For-Profit hospital setting preferred.
- Experience leading financial audits and cost report processes required.
- Managerial experience required.
- Proficient in written and verbal communications.
