About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Physician Services at UCHealth Medical Group is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the strategic vision and fiscal management of physician services. This position requires forging strong relationships with the health system enterprise and physician leadership to enhance the overall entity's performance. The CFO will focus on productivity, value-based purchasing agreements, and physician compensation while ensuring alignment with UCHealth's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Align departmental strategy with the overall financial goals of the organization.
• Develop policies, practices, and procedures impacting the physician services division.
• Evaluate financial and operational performance of physician services and recommend improvements.
• Strategically develop the annual operating and capital budgets.
• Implement and monitor budget, providing regular analysis to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Forge effective relationships and open dialogue with staff and leadership.
• Facilitate communication regarding financial goals with the leadership team.
• Communicate the financial needs of physician services effectively.
• Collaborate with peers to develop strategy, operating policies, and business plans.
• Work closely with leadership teams to ensure sustainable staffing models.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, health care administration, or related field preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Experience as a finance executive in a large health system or multi-discipline medical group preferred.
• Experience in matrixed reporting relationships with strong collaboration skills.
