About the position
Luxury Brand Partners is a successful beauty brand incubator that has created, launched, and sold many well-known companies including Bumble + bumble, Becca Cosmetics, Pulp Riot, and Oribe Hair Care. It's current portfolio of high-growth brands includes R+Co., IGK and One/Size, among others. This Chief Financial Officer, R+Co. role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with exceptional accounting expertise, experience managing a P&L, and a successful track record of working side-by-side with commercial leaders. It will require complete oversight of financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, and strategic development. R+Co. is the most mature brand in the Luxury Brand Partners portfolio with nearly $100MM in sales. The brand includes a core line, as well as a premium line (R+Co. Bleu) and a nascent professional color line (R+Color). See www.randco.com. The Luxury Brand Partners shared services finance team which is responsible for monthly close, annual audit work, annual tax work, sales tax compliance, insurance and accounting determinations. The CFO, R+Co., will collaborate closely with the shared services team and support the completion of these activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation, analysis and ongoing monitoring of short- and long-term budget and financial forecast
- Assess organizational performance versus budget and strategy and provide financial and operational data (KPIs) to support actionable recommendations for improvement
- Help identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with President / General Manager on all financial, operational and strategic issues
- Oversee financial systems and processes
- Support annual audit and tax deliverables
- Work closely with supply chain team to maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure efficient inventory planning and purchasing
Requirements
- Finance or Accounting degree; 12 years + experience in senior-level finance / accounting position
- CPA preferred
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, operations, accounting, budgeting, and reporting
- Direct experience managing P&L
- Direct experience managing inventory
- Strong excel modeling skills
