About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in the organization by serving on the Senior Leadership team and reporting directly to the Board of Directors and the President/CEO. This position is responsible for strategic financial planning and the implementation of effective finance and accounting strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term financial goals and objectives for the organization.
• Establish finance plans, goals, and policies that align with organizational priorities.
• Ensure that financial policies comply with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry trends.
• Supervise the development and implementation of financial information and control systems, including general ledger, budgeting, and cost allocation.
• Prepare, maintain, and report internal and external financial records and analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Ten or more years of high-level finance/accounting experience.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a non-profit organization.
