Founded in 1971, Pact operates in nearly 40 countries, focusing on resilience, accountability, and sustainable social impact. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in this mission by overseeing the financial health and fiscal integrity of the organization. As a member of Pact's executive leadership team, the CFO is responsible for a wide range of financial operations, including accounting, treasury, payroll, insurance, travel, facilities, and technology operations. This position requires a strategic mindset to ensure the seamless operational delivery of Pact's projects while adhering to organizational policies and regulatory compliance. The CFO will work closely with the Board's Finance and Audit Committee and outside investment advisors to oversee the organization's financial investments. In addition to these responsibilities, the CFO will ensure the delivery of all accounting and finance functions, including cash management, accounts payable and receivable, and the preparation of annual financial statements and audits. The role also requires enabling operational integrity and continuous improvement across the organization, ensuring that Pact has the necessary technical resources to deliver on its work. The CFO will support high-quality program delivery through budget management, operational support, and compliance monitoring, while also working with business development and program teams to structure new programs for successful implementation. Furthermore, the CFO will oversee facilities management and supervise all department staff, fostering a cohesive team environment and encouraging professional development.
