About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in the executive team, overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This strategic leader will be responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy, managing financial operations, and providing insights to support business growth and operational efficiency, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability.
  • Develop and implement best practices for fiscal management, project coordination, and workflows.
  • Partner with the Executive team to build overall business model and financial strategies that align with the Company's growth plans.
  • Efficiently develop financial forecasts and operating plans on both a recurring and ad-hoc basis.
  • Direct the preparation of financial statements and reporting metrics.
  • Ensure compliance and audit guidelines are met timely.
  • Remain aware of new regulations and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for process enhancement.
  • Perform risk management and evaluate and manage capital structure.
  • Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures, and prepare detailed reports for Board meetings.
  • Ensure the selection, development, and retention of well-qualified team members and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and the Board of Directors.
  • Enhance, implement, and oversee financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  • Evaluate various growth and strategic opportunities and present accurate financial information for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the technology or cybersecurity sectors.
  • Excellent leadership skills and enthusiastic problem-solving abilities.
  • High sense of integrity and ownership over work product.
  • Experience presenting to Boards and Executive level administrators.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
