About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will work closely with the CEO to provide leadership and guidance over all administrative, financial, and risk management areas of the company. This role involves significant involvement in company operations and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on people, performance, and growth. The CFO is expected to bring a Lean mindset and drive value and growth through process improvement, staff assessment, and strategic planning, particularly as the company aims to expand internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic plans and programs and advise on the impact of long-range planning.
• Deliver analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to the Board and CEO.
• Enhance or develop and implement processes and policies to improve overall effectiveness.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
• Evaluate potential acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments.
• Manage cash forecasting and reporting mechanisms for operations planning.
• Act as a contract advisor from a financial and legal perspective and coordinate with legal resources.
• Lead and create performance management plans and metrics.
• Implement a data-oriented approach to business operations to create better value through KPIs and other tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and MBA, MS or CPA.
• 15+ years of supervisory and strong leadership skills.
• Manufacturing finance experience.
• Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
• Well-versed in contract law and risk management.
• Strong HR and employee relations experience.
• Thorough understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
• Lean approach to process improvement and driving value.
