About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Ozarks Medical Center plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for managing the Accounting Department, which includes Accounts Payable, Payroll, and general Accounting functions. The CFO will ensure that all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and verified, focusing on both revenue and expense management. This includes analyzing variances, benchmarks, and statistics to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency. In addition to overseeing the accounting functions, the CFO is tasked with the preparation of the hospital's budget and regulatory reports. This involves a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting requirements and the ability to compile monthly and annual financial reports that reflect the organization's financial health. The CFO will also be responsible for creating benchmarking reports that provide insights into the hospital's performance relative to industry standards. A key aspect of this role is the communication of financial health to other members of the Senior Leadership team and to the designated Finance member of the Board of Directors. The CFO must be adept at presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the financial decision-making process.

Responsibilities
