About the position

Venteur is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations and drive its financial strategy. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial future, ensuring robust financial health, and supporting growth objectives. This position is a key executive leadership role that reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company's growth, product development, and profitability goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Burn Rate reports to provide clear visibility into financial performance.
  • Manage financial reporting to the Board and investors, delivering updates and insights on company performance and projections.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold strong internal controls.
  • Direct treasury functions to optimize cash flow, investment, and financial performance.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and manage financial risks to protect company assets, mitigate exposure, and support long-term resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a CFO or similar position with a Fintech company with institutional investment (Series A to C).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in high-growth environments.
