About the position

The CFO will lead the financial operations of an IT consulting firm specializing in the Financial Services marketplace. This role is critical for driving financial performance, strategic planning, and managing financial risks while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Portland, Oregon, and is targeted at local candidates only.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial operations of the company, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
  • Manage comprehensive ERP transitions, including planning, implementation, and optimization phases.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive shareholder value.
  • Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior finance leadership role, as a CFO or VP of Finance, within the technology consulting and IT services industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience leading M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
  • Experience working with foreign currencies and multiple time zones.
  • Experience in Comprehensive ERP Transition, managing planning, implementation, and optimization phases.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience working for a rapidly scaling company with revenues of $60 million and up.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and creating shareholder value.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary between $200K and $300K + bonus
