About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Aladdin Capital is a pivotal role responsible for shaping the financial strategy and direction of the company. This position requires a dynamic leader with hands-on experience in financial operations, who will also manage a small team while contributing to daily financial tasks. The CFO will play a critical role in overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the company's financial health and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, audits, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage and mentor the controller and junior accountant, fostering their development and ensuring efficient financial operations.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior leadership on long-term financial growth and profitability.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to optimize company financial performance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in financial leadership roles.
• Preference of at least 3 years of audit experience.
• Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a growing organization with a smaller team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Must be local to Sioux Falls, SD, or open to relocating.
