About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring fiscal stability and supporting growth through effective financial management. This role involves developing accounting policies, managing budgets, and supervising financial staff to maintain efficient financial systems and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, including Corporate Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Cost Reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, large-scale accounting systems, and internal operating procedures.
• Manage the preparation of the operating budget, tax returns, and financial reporting.
• Supervise accounting, billing, and front-end staff.
• Drive financing and capital acquisition strategies, supporting organizational growth and fiscal stability.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years in financial systems development and corporate reporting.
• 5-7 years of management and supervisory experience in a healthcare-related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar organization, particularly in managing finances for underserved or low-income communities.
