About the position

JCW is currently partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing hedge fund seeking an experienced Controller to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a cutting-edge investment firm and drive their continued success. As the firm expands operations, they are seeking a Controller who can help navigate the complexities of the financial markets and support their ambitious growth plans and move into the CFO role. This is a hybrid work opportunity with location in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team, overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will develop and implement financial strategies to support the fund's growth and profitability, while managing relationships with investors, auditors, and other key stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the firm as it continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the fund's growth and profitability.
• Manage relationships with investors, auditors, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within the hedge fund or investment management industry.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund operations, financial markets, and investment strategies.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
