About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy and operations of a respected Southern company, focusing on financial planning, budget creation, and performance monitoring. This hands-on role requires collaboration with the CEO and President to provide financial insights and manage risks and opportunities, ensuring the company maintains its growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and operations in collaboration with the CEO and President.
• Drive financial planning and budget creation.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage inventory in coordination with the inventory manager and Controller.
• Advise on financial risks and opportunities to support growth.
• Interpret and communicate financial data at a strategic level.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of SKU management and importing.
• Experience working with supply chains in China, India, Thailand, and/or Malaysia.
• Strong background in accounting and familiarity with ERP systems, particularly MS Dynamic 365 and NetSuite.
• Experience with private company financials.
• Ability to interpret and communicate financial data at a strategic level.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA preferred.
• CPA or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
• Experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance, VP of Finance, Finance Manager, or Controller.
