About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial operations of an Oregon-based energy company, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with regulations. This executive role is pivotal in shaping the company's financial strategies, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, while also engaging with independent boards and non-profit entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's financial systems and strategies.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• 5+ years in executive leadership roles.
• Experience with non-profits and independent boards.
• Strong leadership skills and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual).
• In-depth knowledge of advanced accounting and regulatory issues.
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with federal grant compliance and management.
