About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy, overseeing all financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial planning, accounting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive financial performance while managing risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with IAS standards.
  • Lead mergers and acquisitions activities, providing strategic insights and due diligence support.
  • Supervise the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage revenue streams effectively, ensuring optimal revenue management practices are in place.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, regulatory requirements, and IAS standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on business analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
