About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Town and Country Supply Association will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and overall direction of the Co-Op. This position requires close collaboration with the CEO and the Board of Directors to ensure sustainability and profitability. The CFO will leverage strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial regulations to provide insights that drive decision-making and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Executes the financial strategy.
• Drives financial planning.
• Develops plans for growth.
• Identifies investment opportunities.
• Writes annual financial reports.
• Assists division managers with important financial decisions.
• Develops annual and quarterly budgets.
• Supervises accounting and finance departments.
• Performs risk management by analyzing liabilities and investments.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from various divisions including Agronomy, Energy, C-Store, and Casinos.
• Leadership skills to manage time effectively, inspire and motivate employees, delegate tasks, and make sound decisions.
• Risk assessment capabilities to identify and mitigate risks before they escalate.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse patrons and board members, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong ethics and integrity in financial practices.
• A strong background in finance, accounting, and business is required.
• A bachelor's degree or proven experience as a CFO or Controller.
