Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the college, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding financial practices.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the college's mission and goals.
• Collaborate with other executives to align financial planning with institutional objectives.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Experience in higher education finance.

• Certification as a CPA or CMA.
