About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Prime Healthcare is a key executive role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a hospital within the Prime Healthcare network. Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of a hospital within the Prime Healthcare network.
• Manage hospital financial issues related to budgeting, cash management, and capital finance.
• Conduct performance evaluations to assess financial health and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting practices and principles.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and principles.
• Progressively responsible experience in the accounting profession.
• Familiarity with computer accounting programs.
• Experience managing hospital financial issues, including budgeting and cash management.
• Knowledge of insurance matters, regulations, reimbursement, and information systems.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA certification.
• Membership and active participation in ACHE or other professional organizations.
• Five to seven years of experience in hospital accounting/finance, with two years in management preferred.
