About the position

Finzly is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance organization and drive growth in the dynamic banking software market. This role involves establishing financial processes, managing investor relations, and optimizing business performance through strategic financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong SaaS operational background and experience in scaling businesses, particularly in the fintech sector.

Responsibilities

• Professionalize the finance organization and establish processes to accelerate growth.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process at both global and departmental levels.
• Create and implement financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
• Drive investor relations and deliver critical financial and operating performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Develop meaningful monthly and annual financial reporting for key stakeholders.
• Design and implement financial infrastructure for a high-growth company with over 200 employees.
• Lead data mining efforts to uncover valuable business insights and support operational leaders in decision-making.
• Maximize return and minimize risk on cash through effective capital allocation and management.
• Contribute to the development of Finzly's three-year strategic plan and establish a management scorecard for the leadership team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a finance leadership role with a strong understanding of business metrics and processes in enterprise software/B2B SaaS.
• Proven experience in building teams and organizations in dynamic/high-growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, including GAAP, SaaS accounting, revenue recognition, and financial modeling.
• Understanding of current best practices in Revenue Operations in B2B SaaS.
• Demonstrated success in operationalizing financial best practices through systems, policy, and process.
• M&A experience is a plus.
• BS in finance or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

• Experience in leading a hyper-growth vertical SaaS business.
