Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of the agency and ensure its financial health, strategic growth, and sustainability. This role is crucial as the organization navigates healthcare reimbursement shifts toward value-based care contracting. The new CFO will be responsible for managing the agency's budget of over $85 million and will work closely with the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors to develop and implement sound financial strategies that align with the organization's vision and goals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing multiple complex funding streams and will oversee all financial functions, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, risk management, and contract negotiations. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who can effectively manage the financial and administrative needs of the organization. This includes fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, auditors, government agencies, and external consultants. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and will manage a team of over 55 employees, including 5 direct reports overseeing Finance, Accounting, Facilities, Billing, Revenue Management, Office Support, and Information Technology teams. The position requires a strategic partner/advisor approach to implement the agency's 3-year strategic plan and ensure transparency regarding financial performance through regular reporting to the Board of Directors and relevant committees. In addition to leading financial operations, the CFO will be responsible for creating sustainable funding streams, managing accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, and maintaining compliance with legal requirements. The role also involves advising management on potential risks and adverse actions, ensuring that the Information Technology department meets the agency's needs, and maintaining high standards for cybersecurity.
