About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for providing financial leadership, analysis, and operational support across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will oversee financial planning, accounting practices, and relationships with financial institutions, ensuring the organization's financial viability and investment-grade rating. The role requires strategic financial planning to maintain HPMC's financial strength and support its growth while fostering a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial services of HPMC to ensure the highest financial viability and investment grade rating.
  • Direct the organization's financial planning and accounting practices.
  • Manage relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community.
  • Oversee treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities.
  • Analyze economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on organizational policies and operations.
  • Set overall financial policies and procedures for HPMC.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to execute strategic financial plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Five years of recent experience in a similar position in an acute healthcare setting.
  • Current role as a Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, or another senior finance executive-level position in a healthcare provider organization.
  • Outstanding and hands-on finance leadership skills and experience.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel, and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and electronic health record packages.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $270,000 to $420,000 annually.
