About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Meridian HealthCare will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and optimizing the revenue cycle to support the organization's mission in the healthcare field. The CFO will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and compliance while fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preparation of all statistical and financial reports in a timely, accurate manner for management and Board use
• Revise and update financial management systems to meet current healthcare and funding requirements
• Oversee billing of contracts and establishment of negotiated rates during contract initiation or renewal
• Oversee revenue cycle including strategies for increasing cash flow, optimizing billing and claims management
• Oversee financial and cost reporting and analysis
• Develop all capital and operating budgets
• Supervise the preparation of all required monthly and/or annually reporting (i.e. financial statements, grant reporting)
• Prepare and monitor the budget as compared with expenses and make recommendations for adjustments when necessary
• Schedule and oversee the annual audit with an outside auditing firm, gathering and reviewing all information necessary for the audit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business is required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience
