About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bartlett Regional Hospital is responsible for providing leadership and administration in managing the hospital's financial resources. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating fiscal resources while representing the Senior Leadership Team in various committee meetings. The CFO will also participate in Administrator on-call duties and may assume responsibilities for the hospital in the absence of the CEO. The position requires a strong understanding of financial control, analysis, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and administration in planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating financial resources.
• Serve as the principal advisor regarding all financial matters affecting the organization.
• Plan, develop, implement, and administer financial control and analysis systems.
• Establish policies for the organization in accordance with GAAP and relevant laws.
• Direct financial and business office activities in line with hospital policies and objectives.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Advanced degree such as MAC, MPA, or MBA preferred.
• HFMA Certification preferred.
• Minimum of four years' experience as a hospital controller or in public accounting.
• Five years in a leadership role with skills in business acumen and strategic planning.
• Experience with rural healthcare issues and Meditech Expanse preferred.
