About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Knapp Medical Center is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hospital. This position requires a strong background in acute care hospital finance, particularly in revenue cycle management and expense control. The CFO will work closely with the leadership team to drive financial strategy and ensure the hospital's financial health while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of Knapp Medical Center.
• Manage revenue cycle management and expense control processes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to improve and expand hospital services.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and management regarding financial matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting as a CFO.
• Experience in a 100 - 200 bed acute care facility.
• Proven experience in billing and collections.
• Working knowledge of Central Billing Offices (CBOs).
• Strong communication skills with medical staff and management.
• Strategic thinking capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; CPA certification is preferred.
