About the position

Community Bank - Exciting Opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer. We are very pleased to announce that an outstanding career opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is available with our client, Five Rivers Bank (in organization), a De Novo Community Bank in Paramus, New Jersey. Working alongside the CEO, the selected candidate for this "C-Suite" role will have the unique opportunity to help build a community bank from the ground up. The CFO for Five Rivers Bank will be responsible for strategic leadership in managing the accounting, cash management, financial reporting and planning, and capital funding functions for the Bank. The CFO will ensure that these functions are conducted safely and soundly to meet the Bank's growth objectives. In addition, the CFO will oversee the operations area of the Bank, including the Asset/Liability of the Bank, supervise the Information Technology (IT) department, and be responsible for all financial reporting, including but not limited to bank regulatory reporting and internal reports for the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Recent experience as a Controller or CFO with a community bank.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree, such as a master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, is strongly preferred.
• CPA or other professional certification is strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in a CFO or Controller position of a high-performing community bank, with at least five years at the Senior Management level.
• Proven track record in the effective management of Finance/Accounting on a day-to-day basis.
• Ability to influence and build consensus among cross-functional areas to promote teamwork and collaboration.
