About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Casa Central is a key financial leader responsible for driving fiscal success and strategic financial management. This role involves developing efficient record-keeping systems, preparing comprehensive fiscal reports, and maintaining essential relationships with funders and contractors. The CFO will also advise management on insurance coverage and oversee supervisory responsibilities, ensuring effective financial operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops record keeping and management systems to facilitate communication and maximize fiscal outcomes.
• Maintains effective relationships with representatives of funders, vendors, and professional contractors.
• Prepares reports summarizing and forecasting company business activities, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow requirements.
• Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training employees, and appraising performance.
• Prepares interim financial information including projections for discussion with Program Directors and the President, and presentation to the Board of Directors.
• Completes all other duties as assigned by the President & CEO of the Agency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a non-profit environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in preparing financial forecasts and reports.
• Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
