About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Banner Health is responsible for overseeing financial operations, programs, and processes within the organization. Responsibilities

• Guide the development and implementation of short and long-range financial goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership and expertise in financial operations, including oversight and evaluation.
• Implement and evaluate strategic programs, developing tools to measure performance and analyze data.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate the work of direct staff and matrixed employees.
• Build and support effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee the department budget to meet corporate goals and objectives.
• Communicate the department vision and translate it into actionable projects and activities.
• Review, prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Participate as a subject-matter expert in task forces and committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible managerial experience, including two years in a management role within a healthcare system or complex corporate environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of principles and practices in financial operations.
• Proven track record of driving successful performance outcomes and accomplishing organizational goals.
