About the position

Valley View is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and compassionate financial leadership. The CFO will be responsible for maintaining the hospital's independence as a non-profit regional facility while continuing the legacy of the retiring CFO, who was highly regarded by various stakeholders. This role requires a strong background in financial management, particularly in accounts receivable billing and collections, along with proven supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization.
• Supervise and coordinate financial operational systems.
• Oversee accounts receivable billing and collections processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other executives to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in accounting or finance; MBA or MHA preferred.
• Fellowship of the Hospital Financial Management Association preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of financial management experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience.
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate varied activities.
• Strong accounting background and skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous CFO experience preferred.
