About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Afinitas will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and the management team, overseeing the Finance function and providing operational oversight of the IT function. The CFO will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and acquisition strategies, ensuring financial health and compliance, and driving performance improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational performance against benchmarks and the annual operating plan.
  • Analyze the financial impact of major business decisions and operational issues.
  • Develop capabilities of finance, accounting, and IT team members.
  • Establish credibility with stakeholders and develop solutions to business challenges.
  • Create tools and systems for financial visibility and actionable recommendations.
  • Engage the Board and investors on operational issues and trends.
  • Develop the budget and lead global investment decisions.
  • Oversee short and long-term financial planning aligned with strategic goals.
  • Deliver process efficiency and integration across the organization.
  • Accountability for IT strategy and digital transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain internal controls.
  • Manage cash flow and develop reliable cash flow projections.
  • Oversee budgeting and present financial metrics internally and externally.
  • Foster relationships with investors, banks, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with business operators on contract structuring and pricing.
  • Conduct market and product profitability analysis to optimize pricing and contracts.
  • Travel frequently to meet internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role in manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing financial regulations and cost accounting.
  • Strategic visionary with strong operational focus and analytical ability.
  • Proven success in building a high-performing finance function.
  • Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborative and flexible style with a partnership mentality.
  • Strong experience with mergers and acquisitions and their integration.
  • Experience in a complex, global manufacturing environment.
