About the position

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BELAY, you will play a pivotal role in providing sound financial counsel to our clients. This position is designed for a senior accounting professional who is looking for a unique opportunity outside the traditional corner office environment. You will be responsible for conducting financial reviews and analyses, strategic profit planning and execution, cash flow projections and forecasting, and liaising with tax experts. Additionally, you will oversee the annual budgeting and planning processes, ensuring that our clients have the financial insights they need to thrive. Responsibilities

  • Provide financial review and analysis for clients.
  • Conduct strategic profit planning and execution.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and forecasting.
  • Liaise with tax experts to ensure compliance and optimization.
  • Oversee annual budgeting and planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance with familiarity in GAAP standards and current tools.
  • Prior experience in a senior financial role.
