About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our non-profit organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who is not only adept at managing the financial health and integrity of the organization but also possesses the ability to foster and maintain relationships within the community. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring that the organization’s faith-based mission is not only sustained but also expanded over time. This involves strategic planning, financial forecasting, and the development of financial policies that align with the organization’s goals and values. In addition to traditional financial management responsibilities, the CFO will engage with various stakeholders, including board members, donors, and community leaders, to build strong partnerships that support the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying opportunities for growth and will have a vision for how to leverage financial resources to enhance the organization’s impact. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of non-profit finance while remaining committed to the organization’s mission and values. The CFO will also oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role within a non-profit organization.
• Strong understanding of non-profit financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and vision, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth.
• Commitment to the organization's faith-based mission and values.
