About the position

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and management for clinical informatics solutions.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure patient involvement in system planning and evaluation.
  • Champion the use of informatics for quality improvement and change.
  • Build relationships with clinical leadership across various departments and institutes.
  • Provide subject matter assistance on healthcare committees.

Requirements

  • MD degree required.
  • Formal training or experience in informatics necessary.
  • 5-7 years of experience in medical information technology.
  • Recent medical practice experience required.
  • Board certified in clinical informatics.
  • MD licensed to practice in the state of Oregon.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MS, MMM or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience working in an Academic Medical Center with ties to community hospitals.
  • Experience in mergers/acquisitions.
  • Training in medical informatics is highly desirable.
