About the position

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will serve on the executive leadership team, driving the development and implementation of human capital strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and goals. The CHRO will oversee all aspects of the human resources, People and Culture function, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, compliance, and HR technology. This role is essential in shaping a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while staying true to our values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the HR P&C function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally.
  • Develop HR P&C plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Be a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership on organizational strategy, talent needs, and workforce planning.
  • Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR P&C team focusing on collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Design and deploy a job architecture and subsequent career pathing.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on emerging HR trends, industry benchmarks, and innovative practices.
  • Oversee performance management systems to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead efforts and help drive Employee Engagement & Culture.
  • Drive initiatives that reinforce Grand Circles values and promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and drive HR P&C Operations & Compliance.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR P&C policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership regarding employee relations and conflict resolution with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Leverage HR technology and analytics to drive efficiency and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior or executive-level HR role.
  • Certifications SPHR, SHRM SCP, or equivalent certification preferred.
