About the position

Bryn Mawr College seeks a dynamic and collaborative Chief Information Officer and Constance A. Jones Director of Libraries (CIO & Director) to lead its integrated IT/library organization. This role is pivotal in advancing a culture of innovation and inclusiveness, ensuring that the library and IT services effectively support the College's faculty, students, and staff. The CIO & Director will oversee a budget of over $17M and manage a team of 75 professional staff, while also fostering partnerships with Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the merged Library & Information Technology Services (LITS) organization.
• Provide cohesive leadership across library and IT functions.
• Manage change in the library's role in the 21st century, including technology and physical spaces.
• Ensure IT needs are met across campus constituencies.
• Co-sponsor the Workday implementation for efficiency and resource planning.
• Collaborate with the Director of Information Security to enhance IT and data security practices.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in library and information technology services.
• Strong understanding of current trends in library and IT services.
• Experience managing large budgets and teams.
• Ability to foster collaboration and partnerships within and outside the institution.
• Strategic vision for integrating technology in educational settings.
