About the position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Saudi Aramco's subsidiary is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to minimize risks to the organization's Industrial Control Systems (ICS) from various cyber threats. This role involves leadership of the Cyber Security unit, budget management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality policies. The CIO will lead investigations into security incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, and advocate for a safety culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee major security incidents and lead investigations.
  • Coordinate incident response and remediation activities.
  • Conduct technical vulnerability assessments of ICS systems.
  • Identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend control improvements.
  • Perform threat hunting and threat intelligence analysis.
  • Oversee digital forensic investigations and analyze evidence.
  • Maintain security administration processes and manage access rights.
  • Engage with regulators and government entities for assessments.
  • Coordinate service contracts and maintenance agreements for ICS services.
  • Manage the budget for the Cyber Security unit and acquire necessary funds.
  • Advocate for safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Develop and implement operational excellence requirements.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of related experience in IT Security, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
