About the position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at EdgeUno is responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy to enhance operational efficiency across various IT domains, including Software Development, System Administration, Datacenter, and Platform Engineering. This role is pivotal in optimizing business processes and driving innovation, particularly in telecommunications, to meet the evolving needs of a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive technology vision aligned with EdgeUno's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement the technology roadmap.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the IT team.
  • Utilize telecommunications knowledge to design and manage innovative network solutions.
  • Supervise the construction and operation of telecommunications infrastructure for high availability and security.
  • Provide strategic direction for the design and optimization of data center and cloud services.
  • Lead information security efforts and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements for optimal pricing and service quality.
  • Develop and administer the IT budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in senior IT leadership roles, particularly in telecommunications and network administration.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, data center infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Ability to develop and implement technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of leading innovation and managing large-scale projects.
  • Expertise in vendor administration, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
