About the position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Molex is a pivotal role within the Digital Leadership Team, responsible for aligning technology strategies with business objectives. This position focuses on leveraging disruptive technologies to enhance business effectiveness and optimize company assets, while also overseeing the core operational systems that support global business transactions. The CIO will drive transformational technology initiatives, collaborate with various teams to streamline product delivery, and ensure the governance and resilience of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology infrastructures, applications, tools, and platforms to enhance business effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement a clear technology vision that aligns with business strategies and goals.
  • Manage and operate core operational systems for daily business transactions.
  • Drive business strategy through transformational technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with digital peers and functional teams to deploy cross-company initiatives that increase value and efficiency.
  • Facilitate discussions to maximize the effectiveness of technology solutions and ensure governance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a large, global matrix organization in a digital or legacy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking to drive vision around transformation.
  • Experience in managing large-scale transformational programs and projects.
  • Ability to commercialize and optimize a P&L, effectively communicating investment stories.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, particularly in financial and operational contexts.
  • Experience leading enterprise change initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Ability to build high-performing, cross-functional teams and drive transformative change.
