The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing all technology matters related to the Wyoming Stable Token, ensuring compliance with laws and best practices surrounding cybersecurity and privacy. The CISO will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the Wyoming Stable Token's cybersecurity program, which must adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices. This includes conducting cybersecurity risk assessments, identifying and remediating risks, performing annual policy reviews, and maintaining documentation of all reviews conducted. The CISO will also be tasked with providing regular reports to the Commission and the Executive Director, detailing the status of cybersecurity measures and any emerging threats or compliance issues. In this role, the CISO will engage in a continuous and dynamic process of cybersecurity threat assessment and compliance, staying informed about evolving threats and regulatory changes, particularly those relevant to blockchain and digital assets. The CISO will collaborate with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) to conduct risk assessments, manage red/blue team exercises, and coordinate with white hat hackers to identify vulnerabilities. Additionally, the CISO will develop strategies for risk remediation, which may include deploying new security technologies, updating policies, and conducting training sessions. The CISO will also be responsible for the selection of blockchains for the Wyoming Stable Token, ensuring that the chosen technologies align with the Commission's goals. An annual review of the cybersecurity policy will be required to ensure its relevance and effectiveness against current cyber threats. The CISO will document and retain evidence of all reviews performed, which is essential for audits and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the CISO will monitor industry trends and advancements in stable token technologies to inform the Commission's strategies and activities.
