About the position

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to support a Department of Defense (DOD) Special Operations Command (SOCOM) opportunity. The CISO will be responsible for overseeing the enterprise information security policy and strategy across the EDATS program. This role involves the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security standards and procedures, ensuring that the organization adheres to best practices in information security. The CISO will also be in charge of conducting IT risk evaluations, audits, and security incident investigations, playing a critical role in safeguarding the organization's information assets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The position requires a strong leader who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams while also being self-motivated to complete projects independently. The CISO will work on-site in Tampa, FL, and must possess an active DOD TS/SCI clearance. This role is pivotal in supporting ITC's mission to deliver innovative technology solutions to government customers, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for enterprise information security policy and strategy across the EDATS program.
• Oversees the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security standards and procedures.
• In charge of IT risk evaluations, audits, and security incident investigations.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in information security at a senior level and a MA/MS degree.
• Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
• 12 years of work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
