About the position

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Lantheus is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide information security strategy, policy, architecture, operations, and risk management. This position requires a visionary leader who can align security initiatives with business objectives, manage risks effectively, and ensure operational efficiency. The CISO will work closely with executive and functional leaders to provide decision support and maintain a robust security posture across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an enterprise information security strategy and roadmap.
  • Align security strategy with enterprise business strategy and gain executive approval.
  • Maintain actionable information security policies and standards.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff of information security professionals.
  • Develop and implement an information security risk profile.
  • Create and maintain security architecture for the enterprise.
  • Measure compliance with security policies and assess overall security risk posture.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to influence security policy and standards.
  • Leverage information security investments to enhance business processes.
  • Develop an ongoing information security communications and training program.
  • Maintain an effective information security incident response capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years executive leadership in information security policy, standards, architecture, technology and programs.
  • Strong understanding of information security and risk management.
  • Track record of developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
  • Ability to analyze business drivers and develop practical security solutions.
  • Good understanding of leading-edge technologies.
  • Known as a thought leader in security and privacy technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective and collaborative management teams.
  • Experience in managing a diverse and inclusive team environment.
  • Strong ability to hire, develop, lead, and coach security and technology professionals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with compliance frameworks and regulations related to information security.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
