About the position

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) plays a crucial role in protecting the organization's information systems and data from security threats. This position focuses on proactive risk management, developing and overseeing the cyber and digital risk management program, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The CISO collaborates with various departments to enhance security measures and promote best practices in cybersecurity while maintaining agile development and infrastructure approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization's digital risk and risk appetite framework.
• Create and maintain corporate information security policies and standards in cooperation with Internal IT and the CTO.
• Continuously monitor information security controls, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise stakeholders accordingly.
• Develop a compliance and audit program to ensure adherence to cybersecurity laws and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize cyber risks.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Manage security incidents and events to protect corporate assets and reputation.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans for cybersecurity incidents.
• Provide regular security awareness training to the executive team.
• Review monthly penetration tests and make recommendations to senior management.
• Assess and manage cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of information security and enterprise risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
